Receive on-the-spot energy-saving improvements and custom recommendations with Home Energy Solutions. And we'll connect you to rebates and incentives to make larger improvements  – regardless of the heating fuel you use, if you’re a homeowner, renter or landlord.

How it works: 

Home Energy Solutions℠ comes in a few different forms. You can take our online assessment to see how much you could save, and then pick the option that’s best for you:

  • Virtual Pre-Assessment:  This initial, no-cost service is available through live, virtual discussions with an Eversource authorized technician. If needed, your technician will schedule an in-home visit at a later date. Start here
  • In-Home Visit: An authorized contractor will conduct important safety tests, and install weatherization and energy-saving improvements. Start here
  • Home Energy Solutions℠ Income Eligible: We offer enhanced incentives and savings opportunities to qualified customers. If you qualify for Eversource’s income-based assistance programs like Matching Payment Plan (MPP) or New Start, you are already qualified for Home Energy Solutions – Income Eligible. Lean more here

During the visit: 

For a $50 co-pay, you'll receive weatherization services such as air sealing and duct sealing, and efficient products, like LED bulbs, to save you money and energy.

On average, services are valued at $1,000 and customers save $200–$250 a year on energy bills.

Plus, you’ll get a personalized report with recommendations for upgrades such as insulation and heating, cooling and water heating equipment.  

Future savings: 

Based on your results, you may qualify for generous rebates and incentives. If you’re on a lower or fixed income, you may qualify for additional benefits at little or no cost. 

Customers are eligible to participate in Home Energy Solutions℠ once every 36 months.

Is your foundation crumbling?

If your home has a crumbling foundation that has been verified either by a chemical analysis or by a qualified Professional Engineer, you may qualify for special offerings for energy efficiency services and equipment.
